HALO to receive one-time 1 million grant for EMS work
HALO, the local helicopter rescue group, gets a single government grant of 1 million dollars to support its operating budget. Health Minister Sarah Hoffman notes the BK-117 helicopter upgrade improves patient and crew safety and service capacity while a future funding plan will be reviewed alongside STARS and HALO commitments.
