Riverside residents rally to save Heald Pool from closure
At a public services committee meeting residents including five Riverside students urged delaying a staff recommendation to close the 50 year old Heald Pool. They highlighted aging facilities, required 540000 in repairs and rising operating costs while proposing cost cutting and attendance boosting ideas.
