City eyes demolition of Hitch'n Post Saloon site in Orphan Well deal
The Alberta Orphan Well Abandonment and Reclamation Association may demolish the Hitch'n Post Saloon at 210 S. Railway St. The city would pay 460000 for hazardous abatement and demolition with costs shared with CWA. The well dates to the 1890s and ownership would stay with the city under a new agreement.
