Emergency crews pulled a middle aged man from the frigid South Saskatchewan River Friday night after he apparently jumped from the Maple Avenue Bridge. Police and paramedics found him chest up in water then rushed him to an ambulance with no obvious injuries. No reason for the jump was given and the man’s name was not released.
