Bank Robbers Get Heavy Sentences
Vancouver magistrate C. Shaw in police court sentenced Frank Butlow alias Malcolm Boyd and George Faucett to three years in the penitentiary with ten lashes for bank robbery. Faucett aided by leaving with no money recovered. Barlow robbed the Dominion Bank on December 24 and escaped with about $1590 but was captured and the money recovered within an hour.
