James Andrews Found Guilty of Assault in Lethbridge Court

James Andrews was convicted in a police court in Lethbridge for assaulting William Bark. He was fined $10 and costs with 30 days in Lethbridge jail as an alternative. Soldier jumps to his death near St John bridge

Private J R W Scott, among six veterans recalled from the front for strain induced illness, leaped from a railing on a high bridge in St John New Brunswick as a medical escorted march to the station. Rome report says at least 15 096 Albanians starving to death in the past year with another equal toll expected next year. W W Howard, owner of the Albania relief schooner, cites crops failed three years, 200 000 Serbian refugees and 20 000 Austrian prisoners needing food. Short Course in Agriculture to be Held in Medicine Hat

The News reports a provincial two week Agriculture demonstration train will visit Medicine Hat January 27 28 and 29 with day and evening lectures led by Dean Howes.
