Fire at the Krunciscan monastery in North Edmonton forced light priests and 29 students to flee their beds into subzero temperatures. All escaped unharmed and were sheltered in a nearby convent. Firemen, some injured by freezing, battled basement flames with damage estimated at 15000 dollars.
