Santa arrests two in Longview drug bust

Santa Claus handed out toys to well behaved children then went to a motel where two Woodland men aged 20 and 25 were arrested after selling him cocaine and offering him a beer. The Cowlitz Wahkiakum Drug Task Force seized cash cocaine packaging materials and drug records in the raid. Captain Hal Mahnke said an agent in a Santa suit helped trap the dealers.

Alberta extends loan guarantee for PWA six more months

The Alberta government extends a $50 million loan guarantee to PWA Corp until June 30, part of a $120 million package with federal and provincial partners. PWA negotiates similar extensions with other governments as American Airlines pushes a June deadline for a one third stake in Canadian Airlines.
