A Romanian farmer was injured when a slaughtered pig exploded in Cluj Transylvania. The man had inflated the carcass with butane gas to ease cleaning as locals prepare pork for Christmas. He spent three days hospitalized after the blast.
A Toronto man received 10 years and two months in prison for beating his wife on their wedding day, the longest spousal abuse sentence in Ontario history.
