Ronald Ligon of Christus Gardens in Gatlinburg lists an imaginary All Bible football team to draw attention to his religious theme park. The roster features King David as quarterback Bathsheba as head cheerleader Noah as water boy Moses and Joshua as guards with Samson and Goliath as tackles and Solomon as coach.
A single gunshot struck the south side of the White House late at night but left no injuries. Park Police said the shot came from near the Ellipse at about 2 am and a search of the area followed. No suspects were named as streets were closed around the executive mansion.
