Another Arrest in Nemiscam Safe Blowing Affair
Joshua Carter, manager of Stacey Lumber Co. at Nemiscam, has been arrested on the charge of involvement in the Nemiscam safe robbery. He appeared before Magistrate Barker and was remanded on bail of 1000 dollars with 2000 dollars surety. His preliminary is set for Foremost next Wednesday. The stolen 2700 dollars came mostly from Victoria Elevator Co. at Nemiscam with the rest from Stacey Lumber Co. Bert Johnson, previously suspected, was released after no identifying evidence surfaced.
