Kaplan Ticketed After Speeding Stop in Toronto

TORONTO CP Solici tor General Robert Kaplan Canada's top law enforcement official was ticketed Tuesday night for driving at least 40 kilometres per hour over the limit. He was stopped after leaving a dinner for Prime Minister Trudeau at the Canadian National Exhibition grounds. An aide said Kaplan showed Liberal cabinet ID when he first had trouble locating his licence but accepted the ticket.

Alberta to appeal ruling on police entry for wiretaps
