The 15th annual cavalcade of lights runs Wednesday night in Medicine Hat offering seniors a view of Christmas displays. Ninety volunteers will drive residents from 11 senior citizen lodges, organized by Ted Flemmer of Jack Stephanson Pontiac Buick GMC Ltd. Drivers meet at Arena Convention Centre at 5 30 p m and form two groups with police escorts before a reception at Medicine Hat College. Organizers still seek volunteers.
The Detroit Red Wings recalled left winger Murray Craven to the NHL club after starting the season with Detroit and being sent to the Medicine Hat Tigers of the WHL on November 2. Craven left for Detroit on Tuesday morning as Tigers GM Russ Farwell weighed when he would return.
