Eight killed as GO Train hits TTC bus at level crossing
In Toronto eight people died when a GO Transit commuter train struck a TTC bus at the St Clair Avenue East Midland Avenue crossing. Four men and four women, all residents of Toronto, died. 20 were injured, six critically. The bus driver and train crew escaped injury.

Irish gunmen surrender after six day London siege
