Our Calgary correspondent notes Neal Stadel returned home Sunday morning after a weekend in Calgary. Read and Read and Ellis hosted Friday guests. A most successful dance at the Community hall on Friday November 29 featured Jimmy Anderson’s orchestra. Irene Frisch drew the raffle ticket. Local families hosted visitors and a surprise party for Mr and Mrs Floyd Walker occurred Saturday night. Col Jenkins attended a Social Credit meeting in Irvine. Wesley Earl was in the district buying turkeys.
