Feeble minded youth guards mother's body in Quebec

Mrs Charles Petit died of lung disease after five days as her son a feeble minded 17 year old guarded the home in a downtown Petit dwelling. A charitable worker found the body and coroner's inquiry details revealed starvation and exposure as the cause. The youth remained hospitalized with shock and exposure treatment is underway.

Man Fined For Not Sending Children to School

Joachim Stickel of Gros Ventre was charged with failing to send his children to school before Magistrate Ellis at the A P P court yesterday. He was fined five dollars and costs, which were paid. He contended the journey was too far and the children inadequately clothed for the trip.
