Audrey Watson 19, daughter of Mr and Mrs Oscar Watson of 506 Aberdeen Street, was crowned Miss Medicine Hat of 1956 at the first annual Junior Chamber of Commerce contest. Dalyce Smith Miss Canada 1955 crowned Watson. judges praised the field and Watson expressed surprise and hope to compete well at Banff.
