Public Meeting Deliberates City Finances and ByLaws

Fire and sewer work outlined by Ex-Ald Hutchinson

Railway union meets to challenge Lemieux Act provisions

Railway workers and officers gathered to draft a Calgary style resolution protesting criminal penalties under the Lemieux Act and related laws. They urged Ottawa influence, demanded act amendments, and planned to send the resolution to Laurier Graham and Borden.

Quadrille Dance Social Opens With Excitement

The opening quadrille on Friday evening drew a crowd and prompted the committee to plan another event for next Wednesday. Season tickets are available from the secretary as local social ties grow with guests from Medicine Hat and Winnipeg visiting Esplanade and area.

Mr J. H. G. Bray stock inspector reports from an enquiry that 4834 head of cattle and 131 horses were shipped through Montana from Alberta and Saskatchewan, heard by Chas. M. Webster, charged at Decsudae year 1907.
