Santa Claus Fund auction raises record 75795 dollars in Medicine Hat

The Santa Claus Fund Charity Auction hosted by Lorraine Schmaltz and Darren Lutz at Dayz Off Pub raised 75795 dollars and surpassed a 30 year goal of 1 million. Attendees including Robbie Wallace praised the event as a tradition with tears of joy and a balloon drop marked the final bid. A Lego themed tree and Lego sets donated by the Kinsmen sold for 13500 dollars with proceeds benefiting the Ronald McDonald House.

Years-old human rights case tied to Medicine Hat killer case
