John Hunt of Finns Lake died in the city yesterday at age 81. He leaves a widow and a large family including four sons George L Edward J Clement S and Arthur plus six daughters named Mrs Fitzgerald Mrs Mc Donald Mrs D Arcy Mrs Phillips Mrs Cordery and Mrs Alece of England. The health board sought costs for a milk testing lab room and a $50 monthly rent, with motions referred to committees and deferred to council next year for final decision on funding.
Seven Persons reports holiday events and local goings on. A Christmas festival is planned for December 23 at the school house with a children’s program. A social at the hall featured games and a luncheon. Ernest Lefrantz, son of H. W. Lefrantz, died after liver illness. he was a well liked young man.
