Fire destroys two Anchor Line elevators in Erie

Two of three Anchor Line elevators owned by the Pennsylvania Railroad in Erie were destroyed by fire early today. About 600000 bushels of wheat were lost, with a $750000 estimate in damages. The third elevator, holding 826000 bushels, was saved. the wheat originated in Canada and was awaiting shipment to Great Britain and allies.
