A coroner's inquest into Norman Randolph Willis 55 Redcliff killed November 22 in a Suffield Experimental Station explosion is set for Tuesday at 7 30 pm at Ralston Medicine Hat and district coroner Dr E G F Skinner announced today Willis a technician at the defence research station was killed at 10 am when a smoke rocket functioned prematurely and exploded during trials in the British Block area The accident was the first death in a blast research trial at the station since the Defence Research Board took it over in 1948 A three man DRB committee investigating the case has confidential material sent to Ottawa headquarters and further details could not be released
