A three million dollar loan bill advanced to second reading while Mitchell also introduced a Public Bill for early shop closing receiving first reading. Conservative leader Michener urged debt payments. the premier argued the total debt including the current bill is fourteen million, six million of which funds the telephone system paying interest. They adjourned for Sunday.
