Prime Minister Trudeau will travel to Washington on December 15 to discuss his peace initiative with President Reagan. Press aide Jacques Hudon said the late morning meeting is planned but length unavailable.
The NHL board of governors confirms President John Ziegler's decision to suspend Chicago Black Hawks forward Tom Lysiak for 20 games after he assaulted linesman Ron Foyt on October 30. Lysiak had appealed the suspension but the board upheld it.
