Family in Minnesota accused of hiring thief to steal from Dayton's

Roseville authorities charged Gerald Dick and his wife Judy along with son James and daughter Stacy Zehren with two counts each of receiving stolen property for steering a convict to lift Baccarat crystal and Armani suits from Dayton's. A sting led to the arrest at their $400,000 home as the family allegedly paid the thief a share of the value. Police say Gregory Thomas, who claimed to have sold about $250,000 in goods to the family, tipped them off before his arrest. The couple and their children faced questions over involvement and motives as investigators recovered stolen items.
