Pick Up Transient Wanted for Theft

City police arrested Gordon Fitzgibbon a transient wanted in Saskatoon Calgary and Coaldale on theft charges. Police say he was picked up around 3 a.m. after a cruiser spotted a man in a car on South Railway Street. The stolen car from Abraham Janzen of Coaldale was found, with Fitzgibbon later located at the Cos Hotel. A tape recorder stolen from the farmer’s property was found in the car.

Vancouver woman dies after arriving in Ayr hospital

Mrs Adrianna Van Delft a 37 year old from Vancouver died in Ayr Scotland shortly after arriving from Canada aboard a TCA flight. The report notes her death occurred a few hours after arrival in hospital.
