A regular town council meeting chaired by Mayor Finlay covered hydrant repairs, tax assessment disputes, and pipe payments. Deputations sought ferry operation with a potential $125 bonus. the council deferred binding action to the new council and instructed inquiry with the Minister of Public Works J H Ross. The finance and well committees reported on legal accounts and lumber and set December 4 as well completion.
