Four stockmen injured in Canadian Pacific collision near Finlay bridge
Four men riding on a stock train were injured when a draw-bar broke, causing a two-part derailment near the Finlay bridge. Harry Brown suffered two broken legs while W P Booth, A Stirling, and R Wightman escaped with bruises, scratches and burns as the caboose burned and trains shuffled to safety. Brown was hospitalized, with Doctors Gershaw and Fish treating the injured, and fire crews responding shortly after the incident.
