Ha Wally Hayne was named head of a four man committee of inquiry by the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede Company board. The committee includes Gene Burton Bill Roseboom and Earl Johnson with Rube Gardner presenting the resolutions.
The Stampede Company board approved a detailed inquiry framework drawn up after legal advice. It allows accused parties to appear, confines proceedings to officers and witnesses, requires oath testimony, and keeps records confidential until a shareholder meeting.
Dirk Scholten was re elected Managing Director of Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede Company by directors at an emergency meeting. They approved a salary of 300 dollars monthly plus 100 dollars monthly for car allowance and expenses for 1967.
