Hunters Trapped in Fire at Otis Camp Kill Four
Four hunters perished and six were injured when a two story camp at Larkin Pond burned early this morning. A stove explosion ignited the fire as shells discharged from burning boxes. The victims Otto Rittner Joseph Genniv and Thomas Bavilet Reilly hailed from Connecticut. Survivors were rushed to hospital by East Otis residents after farmers reported the blaze. The camp, owned by Pearl Prescott of Cahoon Conn, sits a mile from the nearest phone.
