Traveller death at Winni peg hospital after mental distress
David White of Tourke Bros Montreal died by self inflicted wounds at eight o clock Saturday afternoon in a general hospital at Winnipeg. He had been brought there on Wednesday suffering mental derangement after a fall trip and a period of heavy drinking. He was placed in a padded cell and later, while the nurse was away, used a razor from a valise to sever his head and cut his throat. White formerly resided in Ingersoll Ontario and had been in Medicine Hat years earlier dealing with the McQuaig estate.
