Berlin November 26 The English banking firm of Rothschilds declared its willingness to provide a German credit of ten to fifteen million pounds but on the condition the loan be taken up by the British public within a year. Fernie Miner Killed by Runaway Cars at Coal Creek

Nov 25 in Fernie, John Woodworth a 57 year old miner died in Number Two mine as twenty loaded cars pulled by an air locomotive ran loose toward the mine entrance. The pit boss warned him as he slipped and was crushed before recovering. An inquest was ordered. he leaves a wife and a son in West Ferate.
