Medicine Hat Police intensify a large area search for Wanda Lee Woodward who has not been seen since August 14. Police Fire on Protesters in Manila Strike Cleared

In Manila and a nearby town baton wielding police charged protesters and opened fire as thousands joined a Philippines wide strike over fuel price hikes. Several were wounded and at least 127 people were arrested nationwide.

Rail talks stall as back to work bill looms in Canada

Failed bank officials named in $294 million suit
