In Winnipeg on August 25 Dan Procley a priest of the Ukrayian church murdered his common law wife Annie Cardno in their cottage. He walked to the gallows and was hanged at 7:45 a.m. The drop decapitated him as witnesses watched. He weighed about 220 pounds.
