Lord Lovat, Under-Secretary for the Dominions, at a Ontario Government dinner praised British capital and workers as key to Canada development. He said development and immigration go hand in hand and urged creating placements for immigrants without hindering the Dominion’s progress.
The Waterloo Distilling Corporation plant in Waterloo New York valued at over 500000 was seized by the Prohibition Department.
