Many Island Oil Drill Plans Near Medicine Hat
The Many Island Oil & Gas Co. Ltd led by president V. Drazan prepares to drill the Drazan No. 16 at Many Island Lake. The site sits near a large spring, three miles west of the Canadian America to well, 26 miles from Medicine Hat, with 8,000 acres in leases. Roy Lebkicher chose the first site, while the Community Oil Wells Ltd reports its well at 1250 feet with wet gas expected soon. Imperial Oil geologists J. S. Stewart and N. McQueen from Medicine Hat will study the field for two days.
