An enthusiastic Medicine Hat rally marks the Liberal reciprocity campaign with Walter Sifton’s ally Buchanan promising Ottawa action. Speakers praise reciprocity, note urban and rural benefits, and urge voters to elect a Liberal representative on September 21.
An audience in Medicine Hat heard tributes to Mr. Buchanan as support for Liberal reciprocity with the United States grows. Speakers, including Hon. C. R. Mitchell, urged voters to back Buchanan, stressing markets for farmers and opposition to annexation rhetoric. A rally outline promised further discussion at a forthcoming Opera House meeting with Premier Sifton and Buchanan.
