In Vancouver police say a 30 year old man Dale Warren Goronel walked into a downtown liquor store Tuesday with a mickey of vodka hidden in his clothing and a single beer. After paying he left but his fly was undone exposing the vodka. He faces theft under 200 dollars charges.

Taiwanese assassins planned dog bomb against Chou En-lai in Paris

A Harbin daily report says in 1953 a five man team with U S help planned to kill Chou En-lai using a dog bomb during a Paris visit in 1971 before the trip was cancelled. It also claims later bribery of hotel staff for linens and items used by Chou after a conference in Indonesia in 1955.
