Sir Edward Beatty Visits Medicine Hat on Inspection Tour

Sir Edward Beatty K C E G B E chairman and president of the Canadian Pacific Railway led a party of directors and officials visiting Medicine Hat on an annual western inspection tour. The group included McGill governors and company officers, greeted by local leaders before a motor tour of the city and Redcliff. The train then headed to Lethbridge with plans to pass Crow's Nest Pass and reach Vancouver by August 24, returning via Calgary Edmonton and Peace River.
