W. P. Jenson of the Whitla district was committed for trial by Capt. Parker on a charge of shooting at neighbor R. J. Emerson with intent to kill. Bail set at 1,000 with 500 paid and two sureties of 250 each. Emerson testified of a dispute over a horse on Aug 1 and that Jenson threatened to shoot.
