Auto Plunges Into River Kills Two In Rosemere
Montreal Aug 18 two persons died and two were injured when an automobile carrying four passengers skidded off a wooden bridge over the River Jesu at Rosemere twenty miles from Montreal. The dead include Joseph Gorman Bin ex mayor of Outremont and an unnamed woman. Injured were Joseph Egan of Montreal and another unnamed woman. The car overturned after leaving the bridge and the front seat occupants perished under the car’s weight. Gorman, about fifty five, was a longtime Outremont official and noted market gardener renowned for melons.
