A three year old boy fell six metres into a gorilla exhibit at Brookfield Zoo on a Friday afternoon. A seven year old female gorilla named Binti cradled the child and carried him to zookeepers near a door, where the boy was retrieved and taken to a hospital in critical condition. Zoo officials conveyed the child was alert after the fall and that the incident remains under investigation.
