Beirut supermarket blast kills and injures dozens
A remote controlled car bomb exploded outside a crowded Melki supermarket in Beirut’s Christian eastern sector. At least 30 people were killed and about 60 injured as flames trapped many on upper floors while Civil Defense workers battled the blaze and rescued survivors.
