Enid Oklahoma August 17 two women drowned and several people reported missing in flood waters around Cherokee and Enid. Maggie McFarland 47 of Marshall drowned after 10.76 inches of rain. In Cherokee three blocks flooded to 12 feet as residents fled in swift currents, Mrs Sam Cellan an elderly woman drowned with her husband escaping their home.
