Free wood for the taking in Hopkins tract

Minneapolis residents may take wood from a 20 acre tract owned by FB. Forsyth near the county poor farm at Hopkins. Forsyth, based at 1123 Metropolitan Life building, announced today the offer. Oak elm and tamarack cover the tract, with the sole condition that stumps and branches be removed.

Flight Lieut Lance Rimmer Wounded in Action

O A Rimmer of Medicine Hat reports his son Flight Lieutenant Lance Rimmer was wounded about six weeks ago while piloting a plane at about five thousand feet. He lost balance on descent, suffered a concussion, and is hospitalized. He previously served with the 10th Battalion earning the Military Cross.
