Falls Under Train Anklets Crushed Forres Man
Herbert Auger, a sheep rancher from the Cummings district and cousin of Mrs. James Fleming, had one foot badly crushed when he slipped under the wheels of a C P R train at Forres. His ankle was amputated above the ankle after he boarded the car and slipped. A nurse provided first aid, and he was taken to Medicine Hat General Hospital where an operation was performed. He is currently doing as well as can be expected.
