Capt George Cunliffe Killed In Action
The news reached Mr J H Cunliffe this morning that his son Captain George Cunliffe was killed in action. Lieut Col Nelson Spencer transmitted the report with no further details. Cunliffe, 27, had travelled Southern Alberta for Mooney Biscuit Co before enlisting with the 17th Battalion and serving in the Sist. Batt. His death is a heavy blow to his many friends in town.
