Remarkable Escape Near Sylvan Lake Alberta
A car carrying Mr. and Mrs. William Shepherd and their four year old daughter Joyce collided with a passing CN railway coach near Sylvan Lake during a rainstorm. The crash tossed the family from the car and wrecked the vehicle. The train stopped at once and rescue workers tended the family. Joyce sustained a bruise on her leg while Mr. and Mrs. Shepherd were unhurt.
