Rattler Bites Boy On Farm Near Burdett

A six year old Lethbridge boy was bitten by a rattlesnake at about 7 45 p m during a barbecue near Burdett Alberta. Jeron Stanko is in stable condition at Medicine Hat Regional Hospital after receiving anti venom serum. Wildlife officials say snakes strike when disturbed, and the army unit at Suffield sent extra anti venom serum as a precaution.
