Grain talks break off in Lakehead dispute
Talks between grain handlers and the Lakehead Terminal Elevator Association have broken off despite 24 hour meetings with federal conciliator Vincent Ready. About 1,500 members of the Brotherhood of Railway, Airline and Steamship Clerks have been without a contract since January 1985.
